Learn the skills and knowledge required to provide a First Aid Response and Emergency Life Support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation, beyond the reach of timely medical assistance. Suitable for People who work and live in remote and/or isolated locations, Bushwalkers, Climbers, 4WD Enthusiasts, Grey Nomads, Scout Leaders, Wilderness Guides.
The training is delivered Face to Face, with pre-study and online multiple-choice questions to complete beforehand (self-paced). Participants must be at least 14 years old, and be capable of kneeling on the floor to deliver compressions on a mannikin for at least 2 minutes.
Includes:
HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
HLTAID013 – Provide First Aid in remote or isolated site
